If there is one thing we can all agree on, it’s that actress Gal Gadot could probably read the phone book and make it sound awesome. There is just something about the accent and the delivery that is simply fantastic. It appears that Ezra Miller is not above using his role as her co-star to get Gadot to say something awesome.
In a video posted by IGN, Miller and Gadot are interviewing each other. At around the 2:05 minute mark, Miller makes a request of his lovely co-star:
“I’m really into the idea of the turning of the tides, and the idea of the last couple thousand years of human history have been so male-dominated in a way that has not always served us — clearly, here we are on the brink of destruction — and so I wonder if you would say something for me,” Miller asks. “Would you say, into the camera, ‘Hetero-patriarchy, your wrath upon this world is over’? I want it so bad!”
Gadot is initially unclear what Miller meant by “hetero” — “It’s like straight men ruling everything,” Miller said — and while Gadot didn’t provide those exact words, she did have something to say:
“I’m just going to say, ‘Misogynist sexists, your wrath upon this world is over.’”
We’re not sure what the best part about all of this was; the fact that Gadot said it, or the reaction Miller had when she did. We’re going to call it a tie and call it good. See the full interview below.
